GALACTIC TRUST

In 2023 we partnerted with Galactic Advisors. Galactic Advisors is a third-party cybersecurity firm that partners with IT providers such as ResTech Solutions and focuses on security from third-party assessments to compliance. As part of this partnership, Galactic Advisors regularly audits our internal systems. In early April 2024 we completed the first stage of our security journey and acheived Trust Level 1.

Smishing is a social engineering tactic that tricks individuals via text messages into downloading malware or revealing sensitive information.  One of their new prime targets is E-Z pass toll service users.  The Internet Crime Complaint Center received over 2,000 reports of smishing texts pretending to be toll services, and following an FBI alert, cybersecurity experts have discovered almost 30 phishing sites imitating the E-ZPass toll service.  Learn more about these insidious new threats.
